Today was pretty uneventful for the most part. I had a dentist appointment with Dr. Jani. I had a bite to eat while I was out. In the meantime I managed to finish the needlepoint "Cross" Bookmark I have been working on. I listed it for sale on Etsy.      Check It out:  Etsy: "Cross" Bookmark.

I started working on a new bookmark today as well. I also got some craft supplies that I ordered off Amazon in the mail today. That means even more projects to begin soon. I love doing crafts. I bought some lovely alligator clips to make hair do-dads and such. I have all sorts of ideas dancing around in my head.

Crafty

I have been thinking about a lot of things lately. Mainly how I want to start being more creative. I want to be writing more. I want my creative juices flowing and creating. I want to pull the inner beauty out and produce something wonderful with it. I have also been doing a lot of crafting lately. I think I will start doing more posts here on crafts and stuff. What do you think?

I know I go for a while posting regularly, then there are times where posts are months between. Life gets hectic and I tend to neglect blogging. I am going to make a conscious effort to not do that anymore. Even if its a short update post. Perhaps even just some random thoughts typed out for all to see.

I opened an ETSY account a while ago. I never really got around to putting anything on it for sale, until now. I have a few things up now, but I will be adding more and more. Especially since I have been getting all crafty lately.

Today was kinda just a day. Me and David went and did a little bit of grocery shopping at Giant Eagle. Mostly to catch the items they had on sale. We usually do the bulk of our grocery shopping and shopping in general at Target.

When we came home Lilly our German Shepard had rampaged through our trashcans in my office. This made me a little mad. It is what it is though, her previous owners did not train her well and she is kinda stuck in bad dog mode when we leave to go out. I think she has separation anxiety.

Other than that, I have just been tired today, ever since I woke up. Think I am calling it a very early night. Good Night Friends ;)

David's Birthday

Well today was a good day. The 2nd was David's 24th Birthday. We had a ton of fun. My best friend Meridith came over. We had pizza and cal-zone, along with cake. It was a butter yellow cake with whipped Hershey chocolate frosting. Yummmmmy.

We also had a fire outside in  the backyard fire pit. Made some super delish smores. After all the food, we all watched the  movie "Cabin in the Woods. Me and David watched it last week and loved it, so we re-watched it with Meridith. I'm pretty sure she dug it as much as we did.

Meridith got him a Manson T-Shirt, and I got him a new computer desk. He also got a new mouse today for his computer, A.K.A the Beast hehe.  I'm pretty darn sure he ha s an awesome Birthday.  As we speak he is done putting the new desk together, and is setting up all his computer hardware.

I had another great day as well. Hopefully tomorrow follows suit.

Girlyfied

Have you ever had a day that just started out well and got better and better. The kind of day that you treat yourself, and the day treats you right back as well? Today I had a girly happy day. It started when I got paid today and had plans to go shopping. That always perks a girl right up.

Then my mail came. I got a package from my parents in Florida that I had been eagerly waiting for, along with two other packages. One was speakers I had gotten FREE Online. The other was a prepaid $10 MasterCard I won from a contest online.

I used the $10 bucks to pay my Pogo.com subscription for the month! YAY!!! Then I went looking on amazon and found an awesome Owl Necklace for dirt cheap with FREE Shipping. Bought that with the free MasterCard to. I was overjoyed. To me its little things that can brighten a day. I know to most $10 is not a lot of money, but to someone who is Disabled and on a fixed income, it means a lot sometimes, especially if its FREE money!!!

Then me and hubby dearest went out for the afternoon. We shopped and ate out at our favorite local Chinese restaurant  It was quite yummy if I do say so myself. Before we ate however, I stopped in the local nail salon and got my nails done. They did a gorgeous job with my full set. I have not gotten my nails done in over two years. It makes me feel all GIRLYFIED and Giddy! I don't quite know why, but when I am pampered I surely do feel girly and nice.

When we got home my and hubby watched a few movies and now its time to call it a day. I had a wonderful day. I hope to have many, many more.

Technically since its almost 7 a.m Tuesday now....the next day, its my Husband David's 24th Birthday. Happy Birthday Baby, I LOVE YOU!!!!!
